Leaving London

June 29th, 2008

Well the time has come and the next chapter beckons. I’ve enjoyed my time in London, was awesome catching up with old friends and remembering why I don’t catch up with others :P Had some great laughs with an old skater mate from back in the Day at Paddo! We generally share more than quite a bit in common. That was fun, we have agreed to get nasty in some party destinations next year. Considering I haven’t seen him, nor heard from him in 7 years, it’s refreshing to meet up with someone that’s exactly the same, consistant as ever. He even shares the same concept of luck in 08, power in 09! Being Hong Kong Chinese will do that to you I guess! Good times!

It’s been nice to just relax for a month and not have to worry about anything while I catch up on reading what I should, and addressing other areas I should have kept up with better! I cannot say that London is exactly somewhere I would choose to live, but I could live here very easily if I had to, that’s for sure.

So tomorrow I need to get a few mission critical items for my trip to Europe and get packed etc. I’m starting to get really excited and slightly nervous at the prospect of being offline for a month. Shall be an interesting trip I’d say - well honestly I know it will be - for some strange unknown reason, I can just tell it’s going to be great!

If anyone needs to contact me, commenting here is just as good as email, I’m forwarding everything to webmail, so shouldn’t miss much. Sandra thinks I’m due for a month long European Odyssey, certainly got a ring to it :D

Till then, take care Y’all, have a great July;

Here are some random pics of the past few days.

Netherlands & Belgium

June 26th, 2008

Basically they are the last ones from my trip to Amsterdam. Bottom one’s of Bruxelles and Northern Belgium were taken moving on a train (some in the rain). I really enjoyed the trip and regret not taking more and a vid of Bruxelles Midi Station as it was great! Just going to post pics as on a roll elseware :D Chat Soon :D

Pretty isn’t it, right near the science museum, a good example of the ordered chaos that’s Amsterdam
Typical street Centruum

Dam square

Belgium = pretty. Nice graff, cool cottages :D

Countryside, nice flowers, orange and yellow = small things :D

Same, same, bigger flowers :D

I want to live here, away from it all, and just work!

Lil Village! Farming fields.

Jews at a Bruxelles station!

Evil landscapes. Very eery and oh so cool too!
