A few people have asked me about the above header picture and where it is?

It’s a pic taken at Snapper Rocks on the Gold Coast just after the cyclone hit up North. It’s normally a right hand break, but due the the swell direction and tide, a very nice left was working back across the point.

I couldn’t go into the water as I fell down stairs on NYE (w00), so I had breakfast overlooking the beach and waitied for a mate Luke to have a surf. Luke got a fairly nice wave from the far right of that pic, all the way past the left hand side.

I took this pic with my phone, am fairly impressed by this Sony Ericsson. Cannot wait to get a Nikon D40! (or eqiv.)
