Open ID: Finally a Service we could all use.. But what about Privacy?

Open ID has just been launched. Basically it’s a password management system for the web. While I’d love to go sign up and report back, I just don’t trust Yahoo with that sort of data. Nuff said I think.

    So use a different provider.
    Open ID isn’t a yahoo service - its an open protocol that Yahoo has recently adopted. Its not new, but we are hoping to see more take up across the web now that someone large like Yahoo are offering it.

    You can even install it on one of your domains and provide your own openid :)
